Camp Dates: June 28-July 2 (Week 2)
Wouldn’t it be fun to learn how to bake like a real French pastry chef? Join us for a week in the kitchen and learn how to make madeleines, apple tarts, flans, gougères, and gâteaux au chocolat! Campers will practice their French vocabulary and gain useful cooking skills. Throughout the week, children will create their own cookbook, so that they can bake the same goodies at home for their families!
About the Camp:
At SDFAS, your child will be part of a group of young explorers ready to travel the world! Each week, new themes will be introduced allowing each child to explore different cultural aspects of countries from all over the world.
Through play and art our internationally-themed camps foster your child’s imagination and creativity. Activities include arts and crafts, painting, singing, role playing, fun outdoor games, organized sports and cooking.
By attending our camps, children develop communication skills, whether taught in French, English or Spanish. Our SDFAS international camps contribute to social and emotional development: campers cultivate friendships as they “discover the world”!
