Petit Paris chic
Camp Dates: July 19-23 (Week 5)
“Bienvenue à Paris!” Join us as we travel to France and get a taste of “Parisian Life”. Campers will virtually walk through the “City of Lights” and its suburbs, visiting historical sites and monuments, all the while learning to live like a true Parisian. Campers will be engaged in various role-playing activities in order to prepare them for their next trip to France. They might even go visit a French Restaurant, or bakery, right here in San Diego. We teach our campers the basics of French etiquette such as: how to set up the table properly, how to fold napkins like a 5 star restaurant, how to serve the dishes they prepared, and most importantly – table manners and how to behave during a social dinner. Finally, dressing up and fun role-playing will be part of our daily activities.
About the Camp:
At SDFAS, your child will be part of a group of young explorers ready to travel the world! Each week, new themes will be introduced allowing each child to explore different cultural aspects of countries from all over the world.
Through play and art our internationally-themed camps foster your child’s imagination and creativity. Activities include arts and crafts, painting, singing, role playing, fun outdoor games, organized sports and cooking.
By attending our camps, children develop communication skills, whether taught in French, English or Spanish. Our SDFAS international camps contribute to social and emotional development: campers cultivate friendships as they “discover the world”!
